British Columbia is widely regarded as one of the best cycling and endurance-sports destinations in North America. From coastal highways and rainforest singletrack to alpine mountain passes, the province offers a huge variety of terrain for cyclists and multisport athletes.
The 2026 race calendar reflects that diversity. Throughout the year, athletes can participate in road races, mountain bike events, gravel fondos, and long-distance gran fondos, as well as triathlons that combine swimming, cycling, and running. Many of these events are sanctioned by Cycling BC, the provincial governing body for competitive cycling. (Cycling BC)
